Before submitting a return request, be sure to check that your item(s) can be returned. All returns are subject to TheMarket Returns Policy, to view our Returns Policy click here.
NOTE: We do not currently facilitate replacements and exchanges.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect items
If your item/order was received faulty, damaged or you received incorrect items, be sure to touch base with our Customer Service Team following submitting a return request and before you send your items back. Our team will advise further steps to returning your items.
Submitting a return request
Before dropping off your item to a MarketPoint or sending your return back to an advised Returns location, please submit a return request through our website.
You can do so by heading to your Orders page under your TheMarket account: https://themarket.com/nz/order
1.Select the order where you would like to return an item:
2. Select the ‘Return Item’ beside your product
3. Complete the simple return form, outlining the quantity of returned items, return reasoning and a comment/picture of the return if needed
4. Once the return request has been completed, you will receive your RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) number and Returns locations and instructions via email.
Packaging your return
NOTE: Please do not write directly on product packaging as return may be rejected on this basis.
Returning via Marketpoint
If you are taking your return to one of our Marketpoint locations, they will package and send the return back to our Returns warehouse at no cost to you.
Returning direct to retailer/TheMarket Returns location
Please ensure the RMA number (beginning with R) is noted on the outer packaging for efficient processing.
NOTE: Please do not affix anything or write directly on product packaging as items returned with compromised product packaging may not be accepted.
